Nett Premium Increase

Dear Valued Broker

Kindly be advised that Cross Country will be implementing an inflationary increase in premium with effect from 1 January 2013. Despite the double digit inflation in the cost of repairs, we have been able to keep this to a  6% increase on nett premium.

Please note that this increase will only apply to all policies incepted before 1 October 2012. The December 2012 and January 2013 renewals will also not be affected by this increase.

Thank you for your valued support always.

Kind regards

The Cross Country Team

Urgent Update: Toyota Awareness

“We are experiencing a noticeable increase in thefts of Toyota Hilux’s, Fortuners and Landcruisers, particularly in, but not limited to, the Gauteng and KZN areas.  It would be remiss of us not to bring this to your attention. If you drive a Toyota, please be extra vigilant and more importantly check that your tracking devices are in working order.”

CCIC App and How-to Manual

Dear Valued Broker

In our e-mail of 18 September 2012, we promised you an exciting new “First to Market” product that would improve our service delivery to Policy Holders – the CCIC App. The CCIC App is now available for download to all of your clients on Android, Blackberry and iOS.

A detailed “How to Manual” is available for download on the following link http://www.ccic.co.za/ccic-app
The App allows for a speedier response to a request for medical, roadside, or accident assistance. Provided “Data Roaming” is switched on, this also works outside the South African borders. In addition, the App also allows for details and photos to be taken at the scene of an accident and an initial claim to be registered. Your client will then receive a claim number by response. There’s more, …  once the Policy Holder has registered on the App the policy number, vehicle details and all other relevant information will be uploaded and be immediately available to your client.

More good news is that, a spouse or family member can also upload the App and provided the correct policy number and ID number are input, that person will have access to the services. This allows for assistance to be rendered in the event that your client is not able to call for assistance themselves.

We firmly believe that the “First to Market” Cross Country App is going to deliver a highly efficient service to your clients.

Please do not hesitate to contact us, should you need any assistance in this regard.

Thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
The Cross Country Team.
