Q: Is the package really a specialist 4x4 insurance product?
Yes, in fact the policy caters very specifically only for off road capable vehicles (including 4x2’s with diff lock) but allows for onroad use as well as in low, medium, and high-impact off road terrains.

Q: And if I have an accident or breakdown outside of South Africa?
CXC will pay up to R50,000 to repatriate your vehicle back to RSA following accident as well as breakdown incident!

Q: So my vehicle is repatriated, but what happens to me and my passengers?

Q: What if I misjudge the depth of water at a river crossing and the engine ingests water resulting in engine damage, will I be covered then?
Look, you should really do all safety checks, including checking the depth of water before attempting any crossing, but yes CXC have paid a good number of similar claims, however we do apply a higher excess under these circumstances.

Q: If my brand new vehicle is written off or stolen in the first 12 months from date of first registration will CXC settle my claim?
